What telehandlers are used for
Telehandlers, also known as telescopic handlers, are designed for lifting and placing heavy materials at height and over distance. They are commonly used on construction sites, farms, commercial developments and large residential builds.
Unlike forklifts, telehandlers have a telescopic boom that allows loads to be lifted forwards as well as upwards. This makes them ideal for moving pallets, blocks, timber, roofing materials and bulk supplies across uneven ground.
Telehandlers are typically chosen when reach, lifting height and site access are all factors.
