The JCB 220X LC is a heavy-duty 22-ton tracked excavator designed for demanding earthmoving, groundworks and construction projects. As part of JCB’s X Series range, it is engineered for durability, strong hydraulic performance and efficient operation on busy construction sites.
Powered by a JCB 448 DieselMAX Stage V engine producing 129 kW (173 hp), the 220X LC delivers high digging power while maintaining fuel efficiency and reliability in challenging conditions. The advanced hydraulic system uses large-diameter hoses and regeneration technology to improve cycle times and reduce fuel consumption during operation. 
The long carriage (LC) undercarriage improves machine stability and lifting performance, helping operators work safely when handling heavy loads or operating on uneven terrain. A robust welded X-frame undercarriage and reinforced upper structure provide durability and strength for long-term use in construction and infrastructure environments. 
Operator comfort is another key feature of the 220X LC. The spacious CommandPlus cab includes low noise levels, climate control and ergonomic controls, allowing operators to remain comfortable and productive throughout long working days.
